Services
Cougar Creek Golf Resort is one of the finest golf facilities in the Edmonton area. It is nestled in a natural forest on rolling terrain. Each hole is generously spotted with sand bunkers and most are lined with trees and have water in play. All of this combines to make Cougar Creek a breath taking experience and is located only a short 30-minute drive west of the city near Stony Plain.
Many groups, companies and organizations avoid golf tournaments because of the mistaken belief that they are so much work or it will cost the company to much money. However, golf is an important part of the corporate culture in North America. Golf tournaments can provide staff with large amounts of moral, while at the same time, offering customers an important thank you.
Our pro shop is stocked with all your clothing and equipment needs. Browse through the abundance of the latest brand name clothing, equipment and accessories for men and women. The knowledgeable professional staff is ready to assist you with whatever your needs including custom orders of apparel, prize packages and souvenirs for your corporate tournament or special event.
In the early morning or throughout the day and evening, you can relax and allow us to serve you in our lounge or on our patio. Enjoy our menu, which has a variety of casual fare items from appetizers and snacks to light entrees at a reasonable price. The scenic banquet room, which overlooks the lake on the eighteenth hole, is invitingly elegant and comfortable and will seat up to 200 guests.
Cougar Creek Golf Resort is located 50 km (30 minutes) west of Edmonton or 4 km west of the Highway 43 (Alaska Highway) junction on the South side of Highway 16 (Yellowhead Trail/Highway). If you were traveling across Canada, you would have to pass Cougar Creek on the journey. Jasper National Park and the Canadian Rockies are only three hours away.

This place is awesome. The greens, sand traps and the fairways were well kept, and the water hazards were a real joy to play around. The beer cart girl was really nice, and so was the guy who collected the carts as well. He even made sure to return one of my belongings I left in the Golf cart, so big props to him for being honest. I have to come back soon and enjoy another round before the season changes.

This is my first full 5 star review of the 2021 season. There isn't much that Cougar Creek does wrong.
This course has a traditional atmosphere that I've come to appreciate. I was able to golf here on one of the nicest nights of the year so I'm sure that aids to the positive perception I have of this course.
From the pro shop to restaurant, and cart girl to snack shack - the service was top notch.
The course itself was in amazing shape. Tee boxes were well groomed, fairways were manicured, and there wasn't a single bad green. They also rolled true and fast. Its too bad visiting golfers don't

This place is quite a site for regular scenery, would be more cool if it had mountains but beggars can't be choosers. If you are a golfer this would be a spot to check out. 9 hole or 18 holes. I don't golf myself but i'm sure any place welcomes beginners. As for my friends and I we let few people pass as there are some pros here trying to get through the hole course quick. The best thing I like about these golf places is the golf carts. I don't know about you but I like driving these things 100% of the time. These golf carts equipped with gps, scoring, and time tracking. Extra
