This is the first time that I have stayed here. It will not be the last! These people run a very clean, well managed, well maintained operation. Extremely helpful and courteous. Even packed me a breakfast bag since I have to leave before breakfast is served. Room is spacious and immaculate. The bedding and towels are new. Look no farther.
Oh, BTW, the price is very, very competitive.

1950s on the outside and clean and updated on the inside. Rooms were clean, beds were just right. We stayed on the night before the ferry to Haida Gwaii and then again after returning. Both times, staff was friendly and helpful - both times rooms were clean. It's a little off the beaten path, but I'd book and stay again if I were in the area.

Nice quaint place, close to ferry. Super nice staff. Has older retro feel which is cute. They offer a sufficient breakfast in morning. Only complaints can give is the water pressure isn't great and the shower temperature fluctuates pretty extreme. I'd visit again if in town. Very affordable!

I have stayed here long term for work many times, very friendly owners, nice rooms with kitchenettes and actual plates and pots etc. Clean rooms and decent sized bathrooms. Great place to stay long or short term if you’re working. Also very reasonably priced.

Stayed June 2018 for work. Friendly staff and a cute cat. Not sure how often they'd clean the rooms, towels had stains, and the flooring was coming up in places. Kitchenette was nice to have. I wrote a review last year but they complained to my company about it.

We stayed here the night before our ferry left. It’s really close to the ferry and the staff was super nice! We had to leave before the complimentary breakfast was served so they made us sack lunches. Our room was also very clean! We will definitely stay here again!

We got here a day before our reservation but the young man at the desk made room for us.It gave us a day to do laundry in their coin laundry and see a little of the town. He also recommended "Dolly's Fish Market" for superb seafood, which it was. Very clean, roomy, and most comfortable bed.
I highly recommend the Tot Lodge as a great place to stay in Prince Rupert!

The photos look nothing like the room(s) I had. First room on the top floor was very dated and had a constant water flow from the kitchen faucet. The clerk was very nice to move me to the ground floor corner room. It to was very dated with 60's appliances and the bathroom had burn marks and water stains. Would look elsewhere next time. Checked in at midnight and left at 7 am.

Management answered the phone at 3:30 am on Easter Monday and woke up to check me in before 4:00 am! I'd been driving for 14 hours, so I gotta say that I really appreciated them doing that. The rooms were also clean, the bed comfortable, and there is a full kitchen in the room as well. Great place that I would recommend.

An older motel but well kept by friendly staff. old appliances but still work just fine. beds were decent and so was the price. with new carpets that old motel room smell would be a distant memory. after looking around rupert this is a solid choice and we have returned whenever in town.also pet friendly!
