All great buildings are the result of exceptional design. It is not an outcome easily accomplished, but we recognize it when we see - or more importantly - feel it. It doesn't exist in architectural style, building form or materials alone. It is expressed in the more profound idiosyncrasies of proportion, detail consideration and love of craft.
Born in Montreal, Quebec in 1963, Michael Poitras attended the University of Toronto, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1987. With over 30 years of experience in the architectural field, he founded LINEVISION Architects in 2009, a multi-disciplinary architectural practice, after working previously as the design partner for Adamson Associates Architects and as a senior designer at Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects.
