Services
This is a plan illustrating parcel dimensions, along with the location of buildings and other structures relative to the parcel's boundaries. It also shows the location of any other physical features and registered encumbrances, such as easements, on or immediately adjacent to the property. An SRPR is a valuable tool in real estate transactions or for those wishing to have an accurate representation of their property.
Grading plans are prepared to show the existing site conditions along with proposed changes, including any structures to be built, and the associated water drainage patterns. They are needed in order to ensure the proposed development drainage patterns don't affect the subject or neighbouring lands in an adverse way.
GTA Surveying Inc. uses state-of-the-art equipment and the latest techniques to assist builders with construction projects of all sizes, including the construction layout for housing. We also perform layouts for commercial and industrial sites: gridlines, curbs, landscaping, water mains, sewers, or a variety of other elements that may be on-site.
Below is a list and description of services required from land surveyors during a typical house construction project. Please note: if building more than one house, a reference plan is also required for severance. Client or their agent applies for permits (plan of topography, site and grading plans are only a small part of the application).

I rarely post reviews, but this firm went out of their way to give me a bad experience so I felt it only fair that I go out of my way to give them this review.
Why they're bad:
- Terrible communication: they don't provide written quotes; the only confirmation of our engagement was a one line email that I had to request. I also had to initiate the follow up when the survey that was promised was 2 weeks late as no one from their office thought it would be necessary to tell me.
- Didn't meet their deadline: as mentioned above, initial estimate for the survey was 3-4 week. On week 6 I followed up
