I never even got to reserve the room. I was trying to book for 2 nights at the end of January, I called on a Sunday, the man (who I could hardly understand) yelled something at me about it being a Sunday, not today when I inquired about the price. I saw online it was $49.00 a night he screamed no $60 repeatedly.
I said I’d call somewhere else, he said, yay do that!! And hung up!!
RUDE, beyond RUDE!!!

This is of course an older motel which can be a gamble, however the king bed room, #2, we stayed in was a pleasantly updated surprize. The updates to decor, floors, wall, bath, etcetera were executed well. Bed was comfortable, just right. Everything clean. Heating is thermostat controlled, worked. Price higher than G-map 63, but did come down from ask of 75 to 70, consistent with web portals. Decorations and furnishings northern themed, so roughing it in that sense.

The room is extremely small and outdated. The mattresses are hard as rock and so are the pillows. I had a hard time sleeping and woke up several times with back ache. The sheets also had stains on them. Were they properly washed? Who knows! I wouldn't recommend this place. For the price, it's definitely below my expectations of being clean and comfy.
