Services
Please feel free to email us or contact us directly if you have any questions or concerns. MLC was founded by Bill MacKillop in 1988. Originating in High River, the father/son operation has expanded its business to include Okotoks, Black Diamond, Nanton, and Clarsholm. Our staff is professionally trained on the products we use and the proper way they should be applied to your lawn.
It is a product certified for landscape use by the Alberta government and a proven safe product by Health Canada. The blend of granular fertilizer we are applying in the spring is: 30(N)-3(P)-15(K) 60% of the nitrogen is slow release. The blend in the summer application is 22(N)-0(P)-5(K) 30% of the nitrogen is slow release.
We will look at the condition of your grass and determine the appropriate program to get it looking healthy, green and happy. Treatment will be a combination of granular and liquid fertilizer. We will choose the right balance of nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium for your grass to come to life! You will get an invoice on your door at the time of the first application, also a sign in the lawn so you know we have been there.
Both prices are shown on the invoice. There will be a sign in the front lawn and either an invoice (first application) or a note on the back door to let the customer know we've treated their lawn. Par III has a very high LD50 (lethal dosage) number, meaning it has a very low toxicity to mammals. When properly handled, mixed and applied, it is deemed a safe product by a very diligent Health Canada.
