We manage assets on a discretionary basis for Private, Corporate and Institutional clients. We have an extensive track record in managing both Canadian Equities and Balanced Portfolios.

Services
On the Private Client side of our business, some of our clients are young and are investing for the their future. Other clients are retired and require a monthly income stream. There are others that require some income and growth. To get started, we will initially need to talk and or meet to review your current financial position.
We abide by the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as laid out by the CFA Institute. We treat all clients fairly when disseminating investment recommendations, disseminating material changes in prior investment advice and taking investment action. We conduct ourselves in such a manner that transactions for all customers and clients have priority over personal transactions.
A custodian is typically a financial institution that is responsible for safeguarding your assets. Your assets are held on the custody side of that financial institutions' business. The reason for using a custodian is because there are safeguards in place to protect your monies. We have a relationship with some custodians that offer competitive rates for custodial services.
BirchLeaf Investments is a boutique discretionary investment counselor with a breadth of experience. We provide sub-advisory mandates as well as a variety of Canadian equity and balanced mandates, some of which are listed below. Our Lead Manager has more than 30 years of investment experience at some of the larger insurance companies.
We show performance in the form of composites. A composite is a group of portfolios that are managed with similar investment objectives. The performance of the composite is calculated based on the total of the weighted performance of each portfolio that is included in this measurement. BirchLeaf composites listed below are made up of only our clients with similar objectives.
