With our head office and training facility located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, our team have built their expertise in one of the harshest offshore environments in the world, with unique challenges and requirements.
Training programs are delivered onshore, or offshore, depending on the type of program and level of assessment. We offer comprehensive programs which are designed to include theoretical training, practical training using our purpose built rigging frame and rigging equipment, and simulation training using integrated full-motion based crane simulator, Banksperson and Rigger simulation stations.
Stage 1 - This program has three interrelated purposes. Firstly; introduce students to the safe operating and inspection procedures of Offshore Class Cranes, and secondly, to develop practical crane operating skills using an actual crane, or the offshore crane simulator and finally, to assess each student's abilities through an evaluation process.
This program is intended to instruct and evaluate students with regards to the safe use and inspection of rigging in an offshore environment plus the proper methods to signal an offshore crane. This program meets or exceeds all global standards regarding rigger and slinger competency training. These programs are intended to instruct and evaluate students with regards to the safe use and inspection of offshore rigging.
