Anxiety (i.e., separation, social, generalized, obsessive compulsive, phobias, panic attacks). Experiencing occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. However, some people have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations that become ongoing and interfere with their daily lives.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, also referred to as CBT, is an evidence-based psychological treatment proven to be effective. This means that CBT treatment is not based on what people think might work, but what has been proven to work. CBT is used to help people change thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are causing them problems.
