ENERGY STAR is the international symbol of premium energy efficiency. Products that display the ENERGY STAR symbol have been tested according to prescribed procedures and have been found to meet or exceed higher energy efficiency levels without compromising performance. EnerGuard Windows & Doors Inc. is your specialist in manufacturing custom, energy efficient vinyl windows for renovators, contractors, and new home builders.
1200 - Casement: These windows are hinged on the top and bottom, allowing the sash to swing open sideways. Our Casements come standard with multi-point locking system which seals the window tighter against the elements when locked. Casements are available with dual or triple pane glass options and are ENERGY STAR qualified.
At EnerGuard we use only top quality components from start to finish, providing you with a premium window. All of our extrusions are manufactured using 100% pure uPVC in both powder and pellet form. This means that there are no impurities in the raw materials, resulting in a stronger profile. U.V. inhibitors and colouring are also added to further stabilize the extrusion against fading, blistering or warping.
For added beauty and distinction, a variety of internal grille styles are available with our windows. These grilles are located securely between the glass panes which, in addition to adding character and beauty, are completely maintenance-free. 5/16" and 5/8" wide rectangular grilles are available in white, brass, brushed nickel, clay beige, pewter and black.
EnerGuard offers a wide variety of glass options for your new windows; from dual to triple pane, clear or obscure, with or without grilles (see GRILLES). We manufacture a high efficiency window that has been engineered with support in place for triple glazed units. Our glass is manufactured in Canada by one of the leading glass suppliers to the North American construction marketplace.
