Services
Maillardville Animal Hospital provides a full range of preventive care services to help your dog live a longer, happier life and to increase the odds of detecting problems early, before they become severe and costly. Maillardville Animal Hospital provides a full range of preventive care services to help your dog live a longer, happier life and to increase the odds of detecting problems early, before they become severe and costly. Our veterinarians make their annual preventive care recommendations based on the guidelines established by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
At Maillardville Animal Hospital, each pet's first year of care is customized based on its specific needs. Just like human children, puppies and kittens require additional physical exams and vaccine boosters to ensure that they get the very best start in life. Physical Exams : Your puppy's or kitten's lifetime of wellness starts with its first comprehensive physical exam.
At Maillardville Animal Hospital, we believe in the importance of spaying/neutering puppies and kittens to provide them with a long and healthy life. A pyometra, or uterine infection, is a potentially life-threatening condition which can cost thousands of dollars to treat. Occurrence is 100% preventable if your pet is spayed.
At Maillardville Animal Hospital, we focus on keeping your pet happy and healthy. Unfortunately, some pets occasionally experience illnesses or injuries that require a veterinarian's care and attention. Maillardville Animal Hospital offers high quality diagnostic and medical treatments for sick and injured pets.

This clinic is trying to charge as much money as possible! Very unhappy. Last visit, they charged my over thousand of dollars for different tests and could not say the reason of illness of my dog last time. Just advised to proceed with different other tests. Of course, to pay more money. I strongly do not recommend this clinic unless you want to pay lots of money for each visit. Each visit they were advising that we need to do different tests, there was a list each time and I ended up paying each time from $500 to $1000.00. Rip off.

I have been bringing my cats in this Vet and they have provided great customer service always. Must visit. They also offer discounts on Wednesday for vaccinations.

Maillardville Animal Hospital staff are super-friendly and really seem to be in the business for the love of animals. We've been serviced by the vets and their crew the last year and a half for our two cockapoos. I can get appointments quickly. They run on schedule and surprised us once with a follow up call after a standard surgical procedure. They don't upcharge, which we really appreciate.

Terrible vet. They don't care about pets and only want to up-sell you. First, they just take your pet away. I've never had that happen before where they just take my pet out of my view without asking me. Then when they brought my cat back, they did not handle my cat with care. I came in because my cat had a limp. The vet vigorously rubbed and "man" handled his affected paw to demonstrate that the paw was ok. (When my cat came home, his paw was NOT ok and he still has a limp.) The vet should not have handled his paw so roughly. Then the vet tried to sell me on extras like teeth cleaning. When I

While there is no issue whatsoever with the Dr's the front office has degenerated significantly. I felt like I was swarmed upon by 3 employees. I could not understand what they were saying and they were all speaking at once. I was unnerved & my pet was distressed by this unnecesary racket which further unnerved me. Unless a sense of calm is present on my next visit it will be my last.

They are always ready and willing to take care of your pet. I've called right at close with an emergency on two occasions and they've stayed to help. Vet and assistants really care about our pets. This kind of care isn't found at the big chain clinics.

Been here over the years a few times. Seems to be a new receptionist who seems to have little experience with dogs, and created a stressful experience for my puppy.
She kept trying to yank my 14 pound puppy on the leash to follow her. I told her if she used a treat, my puppy would follow. She said "no I'll just pick her up" and proceeded to yank her leash and aggressively pick her up, while puppy peed on the floor.
Same story again when we tried to weigh her on the scale. I grabbed a treat, popped it on the scale, and puppy happily hopped up on the scale to be weighed.
A stressful event for

After taking our puppy to three vets we settled for this one.
The front desk person is always friendly and pleasant.
The vets are caring and informative. I called the vet in the morning and we were able to see the vet early afternoon. I brought our puppy and after 15 mins the vet informed us that she had ear infection. He informed us that he will clean out her ears and provided us ear drops.
The bill came to $115 an the whole process took 30mins.
If you are searching for a great vet this is the place.
Thanks for reading this review and I hope you find it useful.
Thank you.

My year and half year old husky/pom mix got attacked by another dog and they took him in right away and did a fantastic job keeping me updating and fixing him up. His stiches are fantastic and even though it was a a pretty decent gaping wound they managed to close it beautifully! Awesome staff highly recommend them for you fur baby!

Our cat 🐈 was hit by a car..we brought him here and we were greeted with such compassion and professionalism. The young lady who took all of our info was so awesome. I am not sure if she is a vet asst or receptionist but she is definitely in the right carreer. Dr Kansal..sry if I messed up the spelling was wonderful. He explained our options..gave us access to specialists and we ended up having to amputate Ollie's hind leg. He phoned us at home after hours to enquire about his patient and to make sure we humans were good too.Thank you..thank you to the entire staff at this facility ❤
