Imagine if you were sitting down enjoying your favorite drink at your favorite patio. Then all of a sudden a low flying plane flies over your head and out of nowhere it releases an array of bombs that cascade far enough away in front of you that you are safe, but close enough that you can feel the enormous power and energy it creates.
That's what we say to people who tell us to turn it down! If creating a home theatre that can be enjoyed without using 'night mode', or disturbing others is your goal, then you have to get SOUNDTRAP on board with your theatre team. We are not greedy, nor do we want to be. The truth is, we LOVE working with a team of industry professionals for you.
SOUNDTRAP experts have developed proprietary room optimization software for you to ensure that your room will not be plagued by bad acoustics. If you are in the planning or construction stages, SOUNDTRAP can even pre-determine how your room will sound before it is even built! If your room is already built, don't worry too much.
SOUNDTRAP has been to too many meetings over the years with the Architect, Builder and homeowner and heard the homeowner say directly to them."Why didn't someone tell us about this before, when we could have actually done something about it?" Nobody wants to hear the sound of drains and mechanical systems firing off in the night, or be disrupted by someone else in your home creating household and lifestyle related noises.
The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHREA) has established that homes are considered quiet at N-C 30 (N-C is the abbreviation for: Noise Criteria). At the time the system was developed, ASHREA also decreed N-C 25 was the standard for bedroom areas, to create a quieter environment for sleeping in.
