To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. My passion for the the visual arts began early in life. I loved to draw, read, paint and play music.

Photography was a natural progression and when I was given the gift of my first SLR 35mm film camera, I was hooked. I played around with it for many years but when i realized that memories were always captured in photographs I knew this was a media I needed to persue further. When my own children were born i wanted to remember every funny, beautiful moment and so I began photographing my children.
