Mike and Phyillis Ortynski along with their kids moved to Cranbrook in 1995 after selling their flooring business in Vermillion, BC. They opened the store under the name End Of The Roll. In 1999, Mike, his 2 brothers and a cousin opened a buying group called Carpet Superstores and were 3 stores strong across Western Canada.
As times went on the internet became a marketing influencer, they changed their name one more time to umbrella all the products they had to offer. It is in place to present day that Mike, Rob and the staff along with our experienced installers work very hard to make sure that the overwhelming experience of renovating a home can be as easy and exciting as it should be.

We had a claim in our home which required all the flooring to be redone! After our first meeting with Rob and his amazing staff we had picked out new flooring and decided to change the carpet as well in the… bedrooms. We thought we were all done making choices but new cupboards weren’t going to go well with our first choice of flooring but we were shown a different colour in the same flooring which was perfect. Drove right over to see Rob and staff and made the change instantly with no problems whatsoever.
