I would recommend it for the pool and the breakfast. There was only one of the three hot tubs working. There was no heat in my room and it was cold. I finally called down at 5am to let them know. Front desk tried to get my heat to work and then bought me another blanket. I let management know in the morning and was given a coupon for a suite… upgrade next time I go back. My throat is sore and I caught a chill. I had learned from this experience to check and make sure everything work before unpacking my suitcase. Came down for a funeral and was so tired the next day not a good sleep. Felt

This was my top place to go love customer service, front desk workers breakfast cooks. BUT I haven’t went since I experienced a cleaning fee out of my deposit due to my kids fingers prints, but to my opinion I should have not been charged that. Due to Coronavirus everything should be whipped down with out question. I never went back to this place since hard to find a nice room to go have a lil vacation away from home.:( scared to even go back there because of how the janitors argued with me that time.

The lodge has great facilities and is finishing a complete remodel. Looks really nice. Their free continental breakfast is head and shoulders the most unimpressive spread I have ever seen or tasted. Tasteless in most all respects. don't count on it for anything but calories. Never thought bagels and cream cheese could be disappointing. And one really amazing thing, can just when you have figured that the fans in hotel bathrooms are just there to make noise x you come here and they work very well.

The first room we were given smelled like Chinese food. They then put us in a room that had a urine smelling bathroom. Once cleaned, we were fairly satisfied with our experience. Definitely the best hotel Battleford has to offer by far. Nice fitness area, pool, 3 hot tubs. Excellent customer service. I suppose my issue was with housekeeping. Maybe they should stay on top of the staff. They're a little money hungry as well, after all we had been through they had the nerves to charge us $8 for checking out 15 min late. Really?

When you think of staying in a small town you picture a dumpy hotel with no AC that you are dying to leave. Once you walk into the Gold Eagle you'll realize that this is completely different.
The lobby is the first thing you see and it's incredible for what you would expect. The finishes are great and the staff are always around and friendly. It reminds me of something you'd see in a mountain getaway like Banff or Jasper where there is attention to detail and it is obvious that people maintain the property.
