Okay so, I've started questioning my loyalty to local Vets, "doctor" Butterworth saw my 2 year old yellow lab/huskey mix a few months ago. Since then I have paid over 9k to other vets trying to figure out why my dog isn't walking properly. After his check up with Butterworth, he explained that my dog my have wobblers disease and to see a specialist in Espanola. He has also explained that my dog had an ear infection, to which he did not prescribe any antibiotics now at the time i didn't think to ask, simply because I assumed after they clean it, it would go away. The staff at Timmins Animal Hospital are extremely professional, attentive and courteous. The vets are thorough and they make sure to cover all bases and try to explain as much as possible to their clients. They take great care of my puppy and it means the world to me. Also, their prices aren’t as high as other local vets.

Friendly staff, short wait times. I've had to rush my dogs in on two occasions now and in both situations they were able to take me in within days, and follow up just as quick. My dog had what looked like a tumor growing in his mouth, my original vet wouldn't even look at him for a month, and then book the surgery afterwords. I called Timmins Animal hospital and they saw him that same week and he had surgery 3 days later. I trust Timmins Animal hospital just as my grandmother did with both of her dogs.
