We are a registered charitable society which exists to encourage gifts, donations, bequests, endowment funds and property of any kind to support Shuswap Lake Health Care facilities.
I shall pass this way but once, any good that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me not defer nor neglect it for I shall not pass this way again. Each year the Foundation supports specific priority equipment needs for the hospital for those items not included in the hospital's Annual budget.
Donors to the Foundation who have supported work of the Foundation by contribution with an accumulation of $50,000 or more up to $100,000 are recognized as Patron of the Foundation. That membership is recognized with a Gold salmon figurine on the Foundation's recognition wall. Joy and her late husband Lloyd have been very generous supporters of the Foundation and we are proud to recognize them as Patrons of the Foundation.
Donors to the Foundation who have supported work of the Foundation by contribution with an accumulation of $10,000 or more up to $25,000 are recognized as Benefactor of the Foundation. That membership is recognized with a Silver salmon figurine on the Foundation's recognition wall. Dr Brian Ayotte and his spouse Dr Gail Ayotte arrived in Salmon Arm in 1980, having come here with their young family from Winnipeg.
Once again the Shuswap Hospital Foundation celebrates another amazingly successful year. This success can only be attributed to the generosity of our donors, benefactors and local supporters. Notwithstanding; we applaud our numerous volunteers, who gave so freely of their time, they are invaluable in helping us to reach our goals.
