We live in Michigan and ordered flowers for a sister who was recently released from the hospital in Halifax. It was Saturday before Easter right at closing time. The wonderful person who took the order didn't think they could send them Saturday which we had hoped for. To our surprise they were delivered Saturday and were beautiful. Thank you for your excellent five star caring service .

My family has been using this florist shop since i can remember.. They did move to the location their at now.. But... Their service is spot on. Fresh flowers.. Creative designs. Great customer service. Reasonable prices.

POOR customer service. I was appealed to various beautiful plants and flowers in the store, so I walked into the store and wanted to ask them if they have a specific type of plant. There was a customer at the counter, so I waited at the door. The staff didn’t look at me or say hello, even though I was looking at them and hoping to ask them a quick question. I waited a couple of minutes and had to leave.

I have family in the Halifax area and originally chose Janet's to send them flowers because it was close to them. I ordered a couple of generic Teleflora bouquets from their website and each time they arrived promptly on time and professionally arranged, but of course generic.
The third time or so, though, I just had them choose the arrangement based on who it was to and the occasion (that option is usually on the website somewhere under "deal of the day") and the results were just fantastic and the recipient was thrilled. The arrangement and vase were beautiful, smelled wonderful

I've never done an advanced order through Janet's but I've popped in on multiple occasions to pick up a bunch of flowers to drop off to friends as a nice surprise.
They're perfectly accommodating of the fact that I know nothing about flowers and choose to simply default to their expertise while throwing money at the problem.
"Hi. I have a friend who is worth about $30 of flowers to me. Please help."
And they do. And I love them for it.
Flowers have always been fresh, long-lasting and beautiful while staff is friendly and helpful. I can't imagine what more

You can certainly tell that celebrations such as 'Secretary's Day' are alive and well just by hanging around a florist. Quite the hustle and bustle for this little shop on Portland Street.
Lots of arranged flowers outside as well although some of the flowers were dyed pretty unconvincingly. Come on, flowers are pretty enough, Janet's!
