Services
For over 20 years, Lakeland Family Eyecare has had one goal: to provide our patients with high-quality eye care right here at home! Our involvement in local communities has given us a unique perspective of our patients' needs and a special appreciation for the families we serve. We strive to build strong, long-lasting relationships with our patients so we can provide personalized service to each unique individual.
We invest in your ocular health by investing in technology that accurately detects and diagnoses potential ocular issues. Thanks to the latest digital optometric technology, we can get the clearest picture of your eyes and diagnose ocular disease with even the faintest signs. Digital retinal photography is a high-resolution imaging system that takes digital photographs of the inside of your eye, magnified by more than 1000x.
Did you know that nearly 75% of vision loss is preventable? Extensive research shows that early detection and prevention are paramount for your ocular health. Because many eye diseases have no early symptoms, they often go undetected in their initial stages until damage to vision has already occurred.
Children's eyes change and develop continuously. But children aren't always aware there's something wrong with their eyesight. They may simply believe how they see is typical or cannot properly articulate what's wrong to their parents. Undiagnosed vision problems can severely impact your child's overall development.
Diabetes is a systemic disease that affects your body's ability to create or use insulin, which regulates your blood sugar levels. When blood sugar is too high, it can damage organs, blood vessels, and nerves. This can be particularly dangerous for your eyes. Patients with diabetes are at an increased risk for glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye diseases, like diabetic retinopathy.

Lakeland Family Eye Care has dedicated, friendly staff and even though they are busy on a day to day bases they still try their best to accommodate there customers. I have always enjoyed going for my regular check ups at this location and I love how they have a kid centre and entertainment while your waiting
