By joining the Maritime IKD, you will also have membership in the International Karate Daigaku (College). This international karate organization is dedicated to the teaching of Masters Gichin Funakoshi and Masatoshi Nakayama. This is a fundraiser for PROkids and some training equipment. Following the demo, they will also be having a kids Halloween costume party with live music from the Basement Rockers.

The Maritime IKD hosts many events a year from clinics and tournaments to group gatherings. Maritime IKD members also competed at National and International tournaments. Also members travel to IKD World Honbu Karate Camp annually. Here you will find a list of upcoming events as well as results and photos from prior events.
Do not forget that Karate begins with a bow and finishes with a bow - Karate-do wa rei ni hajimari rei ni owaru koto o wasureruna.
