FBi Buildings was founded in 1958 by Edwin Bahler. Since then we have built more than 20,000 post frame buildings (or pole barns as our customers like to call them). Known initially as Farm Builders, we primarily focused on serving the agricultural market. When the demand for post frame started to grow, we realized that we needed to expand our business.
Over time, we started building more commercial, residential, and equine buildings. We also started seeing a demand for building repairs and renovations, and have our very own crews dedicated to serving that market. The Farm Builders name eventually became outdated and we re-marketed ourselves as FBi Buildings.

We have had problems with our roof for some time!! Poor installation and leaks causing rotten trusses and wind has tore roof loose. Being a Business owner I know that issues happen, the problem is we have tried to get FBI back to fix the problem for three years!!! Here I am still waiting!! Very poor customer service! I guess when the whole roof blows off we can have insurance build us a shed with a company that cares to stand behind their product!! We have to go outside when it rains, you get wet inside!!

Tried to get estimate to have pole barn built. Took a week to have guy from my county to call me, then said he would have a estimate in email in couple days for me to get the loan and now almost 2 weeks later and nothing. Obviously they don’t like business nor wanna have people recommend them. I’ve dealt with a lot of homeowners being in the electrical field and always recommended them and not anymore after this.

I never leave a Google review but I never meet people like Ernie in recieving. As a OTR truck driver you never no what to expect when you step down from your truck. It's rare to meet a man of his quality and I was treated like we were old friends. I would think any member of management would be proud of how this man represents your company.

As with most things in life you get what you pay for. If you're considering building a postframe structure, look elsewhere. They try to sound inexpensive but they're just as high priced as the competition. Get several quotes and read the fine print(you pay extra for every). FBI is also totally uninterested in tackling your out-of-the-ordinary project or remodel. There are so many options now for other smaller contractors who will give you more personalized attention. Big box contractors aren't all they want you to believe.

Terrible to deal with. I called to price out a building. Talked with an estimator and told him what I wanted. He said he'd call back in 2 days with a price. Never heard from him. My dad called and talked with a different guy and made an appointment for him to come out to the house to discuss a building. They didn't show up or call to cancel. If they didn't want to do the job they should have just said so and not waste our time.
