The firm was established in 1982 and operates from it's office in Courtenay on Vancouver Island. We employ the latest technology from electronic total stations to GPS satellite receivers and computer aided drafting systems to provide the most efficient service possible. Our goal is to keep abreast of the latest technology and develop practical applications as soon as economically feasible.
We provide a broad range of cadastral, engineering, hydrographic and control survey services throughout Vancouver Island and the Coast. With our own DeHavilland Beaver floatplane we are able to access remote locations and have completed projects throughout B.C. As consortium members we have participated in large projects at home and abroad.

Services
Dave was commissioned as a British Columbia Land Surveyor in 1979 and as a Canada Lands Surveyor in 1992. In addition to traditional legal survey work he has headed up contracts for the Province's TRIM mapping project involving GPS control surveys, targeting and cadastral ties. Dave owns and operates a float equipped aircraft for transportation to remote projects throughout BC.
These positions will involve a mix of field and office time working on legal, topographic, and hydrographic surveys. Some of the work is remote, requiring travel by floatplane to locations across Vancouver Island and the Central Coast. Field work will involve the use of Leica RTK GPS receivers and total stations, and office work will involve processing and adjusting GPS and conventional data, calculations, and drafting in Autodesk Civil3D.
