River Grove Campground & Cabins
We are the premier camping destination in the Drumheller Valley. Placed in a quiet area in the town of Drumheller along the Red Deer River. Our sites are nestled amongst the river valley's mature trees, that provide lots of shade on hot sunny days. We offer tenting, RV sites and cabins. Our friendly and informative staff strive to make River Grove a campground to come back to.

Amenities include: Free Wifi (provided for email and moderate web surfing, not for business or entertainment purposes), Washrooms and Coin Operated Showers, Coin Operated Laundromat, Dishwashing Stations, Convenience Store, and a variety of Recreational Activities. Located just across the bridge from the Tourist Information and the Worlds' Largest Dinosaur.
Services
Our stay at River Grove was only for one night, but it was pleasant. The cabin was cute, quaint & met our requirements. It was a novelty to stay in a tiny log cabin! The most important thing is cleanliness, and that box was checked off. It was also equipped with all the supplies needed. One suggestion: I enjoyed the morning coffee but my friend is a tea drinker.
RV air conditioning is not designed for use over extended periods of time. They can ice up if left on for too long, especially if set too cold or if doors and windows are left open. Turn the A/C off if you plan to be out of the unit for any length of time. If icing occurs, you will notice very little airflow from the vents and a lack of cooling.
If you cancel your RV Site or Tent Site reservation 7 or more days prior to your arrival, you will be refunded the amount of your reservation minus a $10.00 cancellation charge. If you cancel your Cabin reservation 7 or more days prior to your arrival, you will be refunded the amount of your reservation minus a $20.00 cancellation charge.

Great little campground. The included amenities are terrific (showers, toilets, drinking water) as well as full hookups. We use a tent, so we didn't use the hookups. There's not a lot of seperation between campsites and it gets a little crowded when it's busy. But the location is great and at night, it does feel like you're in the bush. I was definitely skeptical when we arrived, but my opinion definitely changed after the first hour or so.
Go. Camp. Get outside. You'll feel better. This is a great place to do it.

Do you want to take your baby/toddler camping but a little nervous? River Grove is the perfect place to try out glamping!
Cabin #10 is highly recommended as it sleeps 6, and is spacious and comfy! Perfect for a friends/family trip - my toddler and senior parents both slept very well :)
The campground itself is very well maintained and lots of walking paths for a curious toddler to explore - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. The public bathrooms are very clean, there is a laundromat, playground, and even an arcade!
This will be our annual cabin spot from now on. Thanks

Our go to campground every-time we visit! It’s a great spot only down side this year is I wish people would slow down when driving through 10km is the max speed and we have see people go through going at almost 30! This is a very kid friendly campground to be doing more then 10km!

Needs more work and maintenance. Nice location, but showers & toilets definitely require updating. Wifi was very good.
Garbage bins were full and should be emptied more often, awful smell....
Sites were large but the neighbor's sewage outlet was too close to our picnic table...

Really enjoyed our stay. Site was nicely treed, space was big enough for our 5th wheel and slide out. Cute and cozy. Has an arcade for kids and play area. Check in was quick and easy and it was a quiet and enjoyable night. Would definitely stay again.

Nice experience overall. It was quiet and clean in the campground and our cabin. A must see is the fossil store at the end of the bridge one block from the camp entrance. If I'm being picky our cabin #5 didn't have a locking bathroom door/awkward, no plug for the sink and the coffee maker didn't work properly-big mess. Will visit again.

Nice clean campground. We stayed in a cabin that had full kitchen. It was hot inside but there were fans that kinda helped. There's two playground parks near by that was very enjoyable by my kids.
My friend also stayed in a cabin. Her cabin was smaller but had A/C and fire pit.
I would come back again. 🙂

It was a great camping trip at River Grove Campground. The impressive stay made all my family members very happy and my kids were eagerly expecting next visit and even pushed me to book more campsites at River Grove for next year.
Before our trailer set up, we used the public washroom which is so clean and well maintained just like those in big shopping mall. The campsite is leveled and spacious. There is no challenging for new travel trailer user to level and hook up a big rig. Big trees are around the sites but well-trimmed so no any concern of scratching when we tow our trailer to approach
