While I grew up in the construction industry-my family has operated a successful paving company in Guelph for over 40 years-the idea to get into the concrete/trucking industry occurred to me while performing home renovation projects in Toronto where I was completing my post-secondary education. During these projects I used mobile concrete mixers and was pleased with the quality of the concrete and the ability to tweak mix designs on site.
