We are a second generation, family owned company, established in 1980. Rene Hudon, the founder, started out with one employee in a one car garage. From 1980 to 2010 Rene gradually grew the company up to 30+ employees operating in a 15000 sqft shop. We manufacture all of our products using the most up to date software and technologically advanced CNC machinery.
Rene passed away in late 2010. The business remained in the family and is now being run by his son, David, and an amazing crew of longtime dedicated employees. The business continues to grow, not so much in size, but in capacity, efficiency and knowledge. Although Rene made many changes in his business over the years, one thing remained the same.

There was a point in time when the handshake was all that was necessary to secure an agreement. I was taught that a good firm handshake was a symbol of respect and trust between two people; but over time business has evolved to protect everyone's best interest. We've lost the connection that is formed when you "look them in the eye and shake their hand."
EQ3 has expanded into the US and opened 5 new stores. They hired RJ Millwork to manufacture all of the store fixtures they use to display their products. Everything is made from solid white oak with an acrylic urethane finish for durability and to make the oak look as natural as possible. The majority of the units are made up of individual parts and are assembled on site with no tools required to create the shelving units you see below.
When our cabinet construction methods were questioned by a client, we opened the AWMAC manual and turned to the section titled "Casework integrity". A section of the AWMAC manual devoted to ensuring that the end users of our products are getting nothing but the best. This is where we found the answer to our client's question.
