The variety of water problems that we encounter in our work is nearly endless. Staining, scaling, odors, turbidity, color, chemicals, unpleasant taste, gases, and suspended particles, just to name a few. Of course, bacterial content is an ever present concern with all water sources. With open water sources such as lakes, rivers, and streams, cryptosporidium and Giardia lamblia, are a very real threat to health also.
Chlorine injection systems are effective in removing bacteria and viruses from non-municipal water sources. These systems are relatively inexpensive which is why it remains so popular. A typical chlorination system consists of a chemical feed pump (STENNER) which meters precise amounts of diluted chlorine into the incoming water stream.

Another great experience of WATER Stop service!! When we moved to this area twenty years ago, there was a WATER Stop just up the road (Bayfield Street). We had them in to test and service our softener on a couple of occasions. Always honest, thorough staff in whom I felt a well-earned level of trust. This continued today!! I have never felt "up-selled" at any time. Items that required servicing were efficiently carried out today as has been the experience in the past. Very pleased with our water system purchased and installed by the Water Stop in Midland. First of all, Norm came to test our water arriving as promised. He provided us with the analysis, options and a quote on the spot. We were able to schedule an installation that suited us and Jason arrived as scheduled. Jason's installation was exemplary. We moved to the country 2 years ago and we have been using bottled water. Bottles were heavy to carry and inconvenient when you ran out. Baths and showers smelled like sulphur to say nothing of rust build up in appliances.

I had a uv disinfection system installed. From the initial consultation, to the installation, to the tweaking, they showed up on the day and time they said they would. It has been the best of times. It has been the worst of times. We bought a cottage on a well in October 2016. I was delighted to find a water treatment business so close to us. Having never owned a well water system before, I asked them to come and check out my system to make sure it was working correctly and help me understand how to maintain it. I expected that the very first step would be to test what was in our well water so they could determine what should be removed from it. Otherwise, how would they know what equipment we need or which settings to use??
