With over 35 years in the industry 255 provides a fresh new take on inspired Italian cuisine with a unique flare. Coupled with 20 years of experience as Executive Chef at Alta Rossa Ristorante, Gabriella Occhiuto has been featured in Dolce Magazine as one of the "top five chefs in Vaughan."
Gabriella has taught Italian culinary classes at Vaughan Secondary School. In 2001 she was invited to cook in Sardinia at the Chia Laguna Resort in Cagliari and was the featured chef in Portobello Restaurant, one of the most acclaimed restaurants in Nuevo Vallarta.

By far one of my favourite places to go for a real authentic Italian meal, the portions are Huge and the quality is 100/10. Service is fast and super attentive. I brought some of my Girl friends here for a meal on November 26 a Friday night super busy and had a reservation for us for 8:00pm ..they were super satisfied with the overall experience.
Love there polenta fries (one of my favourites), and have a great selection of entrees and appetizers that suits anyone’s tastebuds.

What a GEM of a restaurant! I had the venison off of the features menu and it was the best dish I’ve eaten all year. It’s rare to find a restaurant where the specials are actually special, not just in name. Do yourself a favour and book a table!! Fridays and Saturdays are busy and hard to get a table, so try Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Went to this restaurant last night, waited for 30 min to be seated even with a reservation. Had to be so firm in order to get in, it was so poorly handled and disorganized. Then we were seated outside even though I had made a reservation inside. We were seated in an area with a really loud table, so much that some of the people in our crowd were getting headaches.. We decided to change seats after dinner since the restaurant was so busy and prior to this there we no seats. The owner/manager took me aside and the first thing she says to me is "you are not welcome here again". To me, this

Came here for lunch a few days ago , lunch today and then again for dinner (the night before my parents wedding) and I have to say this is the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to, hands down. The prices… are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. My mom and I shared the chicken parm and STILL had leftovers!
Walter greeted us the other day and again tonight and Marcello served us and we made friends for life! Even the rest of the staff is so wonderful and friendly. We will be returning very soon.

Amazing carpaccio, not often the quality is above and beyond, but this Italian restaurant I didn’t regret taking the time to sit down and have myself being spoiled with the greatest matters life now and then… offers in between my job responsibilities.
I started with a mouth watering carpaccio, served with crispy fresh rucola , shaved quality Parmesan cheese , drizzled with tasteful wine basilica sauce .
To have my next course , being served with Prince Edward Island mussels, draped in a stunning good tomato garlic sauce with onions, and perfectly smothered cherry tomatoes.

Overall, food, ambience and service were great. We really enjoyed the grilled octopus and the burrata apps. Beef carpaccio was pretty good also. Just some minor criticism about our other two dishes. The truffle pizza had too much cheese... So it was dense and soggy and really didn't allow the crust to shine. We ordered the picci pasta with sausage and mushrooms, which was delicious, but... I feel like there's canned mushrooms in there. If I'm wrong, still, the texture was a little off being wet/soggy.
I'd definitely consider coming back and trying desserts next time!

This is my second time at the restaurant and again never disappointed. The pastas are to die for, cooked to perfection and good portion. The polenta fries are a must for an appetizer, just get it, don't question it. A piece of advice, call a day in advance and get a reservation. Even though it's February and freezing outside, the place was booked solid. However, the hosts were gracious and got us two seats at the bar (which actually ended up being a great place, had a server all to ourselves).

Excellent food, with excellent service. The grilled calamari was one of the best I've had in a while, and despite the slight strangeness of the location, I'm drooling just from thinking about the place (and I've had dinner recently :)) - really want to taste everything they have on their menu.

Was able to get a table quickly and the food and the drink came fast. The weather suddenly turned super windy with a thunderstorm coming. I asked the server if we can have the rest of the food that is still coming to go because my parents were getting cold. The servers accommodated that very swiftly. Our food and the bill were ready very quickly. The food was great (even the ones we packed home and ate a little bit cold). Will definitely come back! Thanks for the great service and stay safe!

My friend's recommended. Very impressed gourmet Italian cuisine. Cozy and warm atmosphere and very friendly service. Reasonable price and good range wine choice. We have party for 5 and order 2 starter, 2 pizza, 2 pasta and a bottle of red, the bill was $160. The truffle Rigatoni is perfect done!! Must try! Amazing Italian restaurant! Not only the food but the service. I had the Truffle Rigatoni and it was spectacular, so good that I didn’t had the chance to take the picture but for dessert I had and authentic Italian tiramisu (see pic). Thanks to the chef Gabriella for such a delicious menu. Definitely a place to repeat and recommend!

It was my first time coming to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation and I was not disappointed. The place was busy on this Saturday night and really has good vibes. The place is a little noisy but you can still have a conversation without raising your voice.

This is one of the better Italian restaurants in the area. Food was amazing. Service was great. No complaints. We made reservations and were seated promptly. Our host was knowledgeable and provided friendly service. I highly recommend this place and will go back.
