I provide market garden training in Northern indigenous communities. I manages the overall implementation of the community garden within the communities by introducing and educating trainees on new growing technologies for the soil challenged regions. I was born in Biggar, SK and grew up on a grain/mixed farm near Aylsham, SK.
I received a BSA majoring in Food Science and Microbiology from the U of S College of Agriculture and Bioresources and received other various food science diplomas. I have work experience as a commercial market gardener, working with high tunnels, greenhouses and plastic mulch growing technology.

Services
Northern communities, due to their isolation, have struggled with access to bedding plants for community gardening. One solution is to produce their own bedding plants in their own greenhouse. This requires training and the use of industry growing techniques. The program is designed to help the communities tackle this issue and introduce them to bedding plant production to overcome the adversities of isolation.
