At "Esthetics by Ida's" you have the options of waxing, sugaring or I.P.L for hair growth management. I am a full-service salon with Holistic and Medi Spa options. Ida is a certified esthetician (graduate of Marvel School of Beauty) that has been offering home-based services since 1994. Ida offers a variety of holistic services; she graduated from Holistica Skin Care 's Dermatician course in 1994, which required her to understand homeopathic remedies. She is a certified reflexologist since 1993, (graduate of D'Arcy Lane Institute).

Pedicure | Esthetics by Ida | London Report

Stainless steel pan is protected by plastic bag. Copper pedicure pan is also offered as an option. Herbal bath salts are added to the water. After soaking cuticles and nails are shaped, ingrown nails, corns and callouses are addressed. Feet are exfoliated and massaged. Polish is applied if requested.

Waxing/Sugaring | Esthetics by Ida | L Report

I perform the strip sugaring method. Sugar is applied and removed by applying a cloth on afterwards. Sugaring is better for people with sensitive skin. It does not remove a layer of skin so it works better if the hairs are longer than a 1/4. It is better for people with oily skin as it does not cause break outs.

Lash/Brow Tint | Esthetics by Ida | Lo Report

I use Combinal and/or ReflectoCil tint for the tinting of facial hair. For safety reasons a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide solution is used to help colour the hair shaft. The length of time that the colour is left on the hairs varies with each client. Shaping is included with price on the eyebrows at the end on the tinting.

Swedish Massage|Esthetics by Ida|London Report

Relieves muscle tension, alleviate stress, induces a deep relaxation and improves circulation in both the circulatory and lymphatic systems. Shiatsu Head points can be included in the massage. I can adjust the intensity depending on the clients' needs. Draping is required. I add essential oils to the massage oil to increase the benefit.

Ida was kind enough to take me with very short notice and made my first underarm wax go smoothly. My hair wasn’t very long so she individually plucked out any hair that wasn’t pulled by the wax (which there were a lot of). Above and beyond service!

Worst wax ever!!! No hair was f**king removed from the roots, felt like I shaved my legs. Dirty place, felt very uncomfortable, and a waste of money for not having smooth legs. Never going back there again. A sh***y experience.

OK this lady is super nice so I feel bad but - I would not recommend this place to an enemy let alone a friend. Terrible brazilian wax, was sure I was going to be tomorrow's comical/unfortunate headline ("Woman dies from freak staph infection after back-alley Brazilian").

Wax and hair all over the floor of the "spa" room (just a messy, cluttered room in a rather messy, cluttered home). That should have sent me bolting for the door - I'm kicking myself now. No degree of professionalism: didn't put anything on the skin before waxing me (talcum powder, anti-bacterial
