At SaveSight Vision Centre, we pride ourselves on the early detection of vision and eye conditions. Our team of physicians, optometrists, and opticians work together to provide you with effective treatments for your needs. Your ocular health is our top priority. After years in Owen Sound, we feel a bond with the area and aim to foster a sense of community from the moment you enter our practice.
As a practice in Ontario, your routine eye exams may be covered by OHIP. If you are older than 65 or younger than 20, you're covered for a full eye exam once every 12 months, as well as follow-up appointments if required. If you have the following health conditions, you may be eligible for an OHIP-insured eye exam.
During your eye exam, we will perform a series of tests. We'll also collect careful medical history to determine if you're at risk for eye diseases. These vision tests allow us to determine if treatment is needed, helping correct any issues you may be dealing with. If you're having problems with your vision or are experiencing any sort of pain, it's best to book an appointment as soon as possible.
At SaveSight, we provide our patients with dry eye products, such as lubricating eye drops and over-the-counter products for long-lasting eye relief. As you age, your eyes become more susceptible to issues. To help protect your eyes, we offer our patients AREDS formulated multivitamins. Similar to other multivitamins you'd take for your health, AREDS vitamins are designed to maintain your eye health.
Broken glasses can cause plenty of stress and affect your day. After spending time picking out your perfect pair of glasses, the last thing you want to do is ship them off for repairs. Hi ....my second time to have eyes to be tested, but I also brought my hubby along as as he need to have his checked and to find out he too need glasses, so got glasses picked with progression, can't wait to get ours..so great service, staff was wonderful and pleasant and very helpful ! Great job Everyone!
