North Hill Animal Hospital has been helping pets in the Bolton and surrounding area since 1986. The hospital, at that time, treated all types of animals from cats to cows and dogs to horses.
In 1989 the practice shifted its attention to only dogs and cats with the occasional rabbit, mouse and gerbil. During the past 25 years, we have grown considerably and have had the distinct honour to help care for thousands of pets and their families. North Hill Animal Hospital has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 2000.

Our goal is to ensure each of your pets live a longer, healthier life. Our veterinary team believes one of the best things you can do for your pet to keep them healthy is preventative veterinary medicine such as wellness & vaccination programs. We understand that you want the best possible care for your pet and will do all that we can for your pet's health to reach an optimal level.
For booking inquiries, please give us a call or specify your preferred dates & times and provide any information that will help us better serve you and your pet! For messages submitted through the form, a team member will respond within 1-2 business days. Based on these changes, below are some important updates to our operating policies.

My cat and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Steve this evening, he took the time to read over my cats extensive medical history and was fantastic in addressing my concerns. He communicated clearly and honestly… about what to prioritize, and I love that he didn’t try to push unnecessary extras or over hype the seriousness of the concerns.
I’m so happy to have found this clinic, it’s definitely worth the drive for me, elf and I will certainly be back, and I’ll be switching my dog over to this clinic next time she needs to seen!

Had a very scary week with my pup. The staff answered all my questions, were very knowledgeable, patient with my worries, and took fantastic care of my dog. I can't say enough positive things about North Hill! They have incredible staff who are all very kind. Recently I had to book a dental surgery for my 12 year old pup, and I was definitely a little nervous. Everyone was so helpful and informative and made me feel at ease knowing he was in good hands. Shout out to Dr Steve for doing such a great job and being an incredible vet to my dog. Always a great experience at North Hill!

We transferred over to North Hill Animal Hospital a few years ago, and wish we had done so sooner. The staff are overall awesome! Dr. Steve is the best! He is kind, knowledgeable, compassionate, honest and professional. He is always super patient, never makes us feel like we are asking a stupid question and takes the time to listen. We are so grateful to have an awesome team at North Hill Animal Hospital to care for our Ginger. Thanks to all of you:)

After visiting a few vet clinics when our dog joined our family, 4 years ago, we decided to go to North Hill Animal Hospital. The staff is ALWAYS amazing. They answer all my questions and never make me feel rushed and always greet my dog with enthusiasm. Dr. Steve is also amazing, he is caring, compassionate and he knows his stuff. I will never take my dog to another clinic. I am beyond happy with the staff and their concern for the animals they care for. I feel so lucky that we found North Hill Animal Hospital for Bella. I am confident that her health is their priority. Thank you all so much.

I only trust north hill to bring my fur babies to. Whenever I have to bring them here, I feel confident that they will take care of Sophie and Cleopatra to the best of their ability. After my pets do have an appointment or procedure done, I always get a follow up call from reception or the Doctor. I appreciate the follow up calls so much, it really shows me they care. The staff and doctors are all amazing.

I bring my two cats Lilly and Macy to North Hill Animal Hospital and everyone is professional, knowledgable, and caring for your pet. We love to see Dr. Cini who is always asking the right questions, is kind, and patient and she takes the time to understand problem. They are reasonably priced and reliable and front desk is knowledge and knows whether or not its worth it to bring my cats in. This was huge for me because most vets and front desk tell you to bring them in anyways just so they can rack up your money for another pointless exam. They will

Izzy had the worst hematoma on her ear. Within days it had grown so much in size that she could no longer get comfortable. Doctor Steven checked her out as soon as… possible, while practicing social distancing. Luckily for us, this doctor had already done a draining and flushing for her other ear 7 months earlier. He was able to book her for surgery within the next day.
The staff at North Hill Animal Hospital took such good care of her. During the surgery, they kept me COMPLETELY updated which I really appreciated. They kept her safe and comfortable

This place is such a rip off! I’m never going there again. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. All they care about is money here. I asked today about how much it is to get my 7puppies first shots, when they turn 7 weeks old and they were going to charge me $1134, plus tax and that doesn’t even include deworming. I called the vet that comes to… your home and she said $526 plus tax approx for checkup, first shots and deworming. She said the regular vets charge less though. I called Northpoint and they quoted me at $455 plus tax for all of the above. You tell me, does

On July 3 I brought my 12 year old Doberman to see doctor Kerr for the last time. As he gently carried into the room for me and laid her down I asked are you sure I’m doing the right thing? Dr Kerr kindly said Denise she loves and had a great life. Then grace went into a peaceful sleep and Dr. Kerr waited until her heart stopped. North hill animal hospital has always given my animals the greatest care possible and for that I say thank you Denise Scrivo

Dr. Kerr always takes the time to answer all your questions even when the clinic is busy. He offers you as many treatment options as possible and explains everything so you can make a decision. Dr. Kerr is very knowledgeable and is always learning to provide the best care for your pet. You never feel rushed or pushed to finish a visit. Dr. Kerr is also compassionate and caring with both you and your pet especially in difficult circumstances. Finally he and the clinic work in the community (and further) to help animals in so many ways.
