Velocity Machining & Welding Inc. is a full service machine shop located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are close to all major shipping routes - rail, truck, and sea transport - in the largest industrial park in Atlantic Canada. We are capable of complete product design and production using 3D CAD software, from prototypes and small runs to complete custom machines and assemblies.

We provide a wide range of services here at Velocity, and we can arrange for both onsite and offsite repairs. We combine the latest CNC machining & turning technology to build quality market-testing prototypes and production parts that require precision. Our manual machining services such as turning, milling, and line boring provide efficient options for complex prototypes, repair work, and short-run manufacturing.
The ability to work with various materials for multiple industries, in tight timeframes, with our significant base of equipment is what sets us apart. Brought my ATV in to have a trailer hitch repaired. They deal with it in a highly professional manner (Jeff) and agreed to completed with in three days. They were able to complete in two days and I was very pleased with not only the quality (high) of the work but also the price.

Terrible and miserable management. Way to hate all of your employees! Also you should allow your workers to have 2 breaks per day especially being that they work from 7:30-4:30 with an 11:50 am lunch yet you tell them you are not legally required. Great attitude! Such good guys working for you yet you treat them like they are stealing at every turn. Just a terrible place to go. Indeed does not publish all the bad reviews of this place. They can't get anyone to apply because of their reputation. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
