Services
Annually, fire extinguishers must be inspected as per NFPA-10 regulations (and in most cases, local fire marshal and insurance requirements). This service is usually performed on site and always by qualified personnel. At this time, we can determine what equipment, if any, requires further services (see below).
Here we will show you the essential equipment that we use in the workshop. Each photograph is accompanied by a description of what the object is and what it is used for. If you would like to see the machines in action, be sure to check out our section "What We Do With Your Equipment."
Dry chemical and water extinguishers are attached to this machine and using an air powered pump, it tests to ensure that the extinguisher can maintain a NFPA-10 standard pressure.This will indicate if it is safe to operate at normal usage pressure, which is much lower. This stores the dry chemical powders used in ABC and DCP fire extinguishers.

To the left is a display of different types of fire extinguishers. Some are brand new and we also have a handful of antique ones, some dating back over fifty years! It also contains some other decorations, which is sure to expand as time goes on. To the left we have an antique carbon dioxide extinguisher.
