Luckily, we had no boats on the container ship that got stuck in the Suez Canal but that freaky freeze-up in Texas this spring threw us a bit of a curveball and that's because it's where the refineries that produce most of North America's resins are located. These resins are used in hundreds of ways including manufacturing the thermoform plastic we used to produce the Whitehall Spirit Solo14 and the Tango 17 rowing boats.
Materials finally showed up about 4 months late and Whitehall's intrepid crew is still playing catch-up for deliveries.
