Originally from York Region, Guy Farb articled in Mississauga and set up his first practice in Newmarket and moved to Guelph for the opportunities available in the developing city. Guy Farb's Law practice has served Guelph for over 30 years. He has a General Law Practice with knowledge of all areas of Law; however he focuses on providing service to his clients in the areas of Law within his specific areas of extensive expertise, and refers locally to other Guelph Lawyers who have specialized knowledge and experience in other areas when his clients need it.
Guy Farb is originally from Thornhill, Ontario, a York Region bedroom community north of Toronto. The area was very much like Guelph is today. After starting his first practice in Newmarket, Ontario, he and his wife Kathleen moved to Guelph because it had the same atmosphere and they thought Guelph would be a good community in which to raise a family and establish a General Law Practice.
There is a community feeling in Guelph which has allowed him to established a relationship with his clients over time. This has them returning for all their legal needs from personal legal services to business legal services and others, because they feel he is the right lawyer for them. Guy has strong social ties within Guelph and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and travelling in Canada and Europe.

Back in the 90's when Guy Farb did accident and injury law he took my mother's case and sat on it while taking a retainer until the statute of limitations ran out. Someone told us he was friends with the offending driver. Even if that's not true I would not recommend him for failing to work in the best interest of his client.
