I graduated from the University of Western Ontario as a General Dentist in 1987, and practiced general dentistry for 7 years. I continued on to Oregon Health Sciences University, graduating as a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics in 1995. My family and I chose to move back to our hometown and I have practiced here as an Orthodontist since that time.
The American and Canadian Associations of Orthodontists recommend that most children should have an orthodontic screening by the time they are seven years old. This allows Dr. Dionne to determine if orthodontic treatment will be required and the best time for the patient to be treated. Many of the dentists in our community have been trained to identify orthodontic problems early, and may refer a child to our office before they turn seven.

It's more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Dionne and his team were extremely amazing. Since my first visit, they were extremely welcoming. The receptionists and hygenists were extremely helpful as well and made everything so easy to understand (especially for someone who constantly questions everything lol). I was very hesitant to start getting orthodontic treatment until I stepped into the office. I am extremely satisfied with my results and it only took 6 months! I will recommend Dr. Dionne to EVERYONE! Thank you for the best service ever... AND the nicest teeth :)

Dr. Dionne and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. My daughter had extensive orthodontic treatment that required two rounds of braces. We were not overcharged or rushed through the process. When I had an injury to my teeth, Dr. Dionne successfully moved them to relieve the pain. Would recommend their state of the art facilities… and expertise…they use the latest technology and the office is immaculate. Many additions to the air filtering and anti viral surfaces were made to protect patients during the pandemic. 10/10…maybe even more!
