Services
Fong Ailon has a long history of expert witness testimony in this area and are leaders in the field in assessments. Sometimes called a Practice Note 8, these comprehensive bilateral custody/access assessments provide information and recommendations about the family to assist the Court in reaching a decision that will be in the best interests of the child.
Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAP) provide brief assessment and counseling, as well as a referral program for employees (and often family members) of an organization. EFAP's were developed with the idea that emotionally healthy workers were productive employees. This has held to be true.
Our Critical Incident Trauma Response Program is a specialized, professional response to any critical incident that evokes an intense emotional reaction and that is potentially traumatic. Traumatic experiences shake the foundations of our beliefs about safety. Emotional aftershocks may appear immediately after, within a few hours or days, and sometimes weeks or months after a traumatic event.
Sexual harassment is a complex phenomenon that encompasses behaviors extending from unwanted flirtatious behavior to assault. It involves men and women, their perceptions and their behavior, as well as the social and cultural norms of society.

Adding to its complexity, the reported incidence is based on how sexual harassment is defined - depending on the definition, surveys have estimated that 25 to 90 percent of working women have been victimized and, although the law protects both men and women from such behavior, 90 to 95 percent of all reported incidents involve female complainants. In the 1987 Supreme Court of Canada case Robichaud v.
Clinical interviews are conducted with individuals involved in the child's life: parents, teachers, school counsellors, physicians or other professionals. These interviews provide background information that gives a historical perspective to the report and a context for the referral question. The child undergoing a psycho-educational assessment is given a "battery" of psychological assessment tools.

Is an absolutely beautiful person, and beyond exceptional Therapist! In the public system our Daughter was not doing well, because she was not getting the help that she needed. EMDR would be recommended in the Public system but it would never happen. Regular CBT would be recommended and not something that would continue. Lauren has taken a serious stance of helping our Daughter. The help has been extraordinary and I would recommend her and Fong Ailon to anyone!

Rachel Jose was used for Parent/child reunification. Beyond disappointed! When dealing with families and court there should be a complete open line of communication all the way around. This did not happen. She was quick to take sides instead of staying neutral and did not validate information provided to her. Very prompt at sending out the bill. Total lack of professionalism, did not address any issues at hand, she was not able to related to either of my boys. She was easily frustrated with my older son and gave up on him not even finishing an assessment. But was happy to write a one sided report
