We are still open regular hours and are still making all of our products. As usual we are continuing to sanitize regularly and often to protect our customers and our staff. We have taken all of our tables out, so you can not stay to eat but you are welcome to come in and order to take out. We do have a few tables outside if it's a nice day.

If you would rather not come in, you can phone in your order, pay with credit card and give us a call to let us know you have arrived in our parking lot and what you are driving and we would be happy to bring it out to your vehicle for you. The Coaldale Bakery has been providing Southern Alberta, Canada with European style baked goods and Dutch imports since 1986.

We specialize in baking and decorating our cakes with only the highest quality ingredients. White cake with layers of white butter cream icing and custard, iced with white buttercream icing. Sometimes I drive from Lethbridge to Coaldale just to go to this bakery. I don't think you can find a better Dutch bakery in Southern Alberta. And the staff are wonderful!

Good service but we won't be back to buy the bakery products. What happened to the hamburger buns? They are light and airy, and dry out very quickly. And I was looking forward to sinking my teeth into a famous Coaldale Bakery butterhorn and realized it was a cake donut in disguise.

I highly recommend the Coaldale Bakery. The soup and sandwich was excellent. The price was good. The staff were very friendly. I will be sure to stop in again when in Coaldale.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Tony and the team for keeping their shelves stocked in these difficult times! While others are having trouble finding things at the big box stores we have had no issue finding everything we need at the food market! Also during these times we need to remember the importance of shopping local!

A great small Bakery. The Vanilla Slices are the reason I keep going back! Recently picked up an Oreo Supreme cake that they happily set aside over the phone. Great customer service!

We were worried when we moved to Coaldale that we’d have to drive into Lethbridge all the time for food but this grocery store has a good selection and good prices! The bread and buns are AMAZING!

Wanted 2 item: White loaf sliced texas toast style, and Nordic sandwich sliced. Apparently they can't slice a loaf thick, and they were out of Nordic before 11:00am on a Friday.
I won't bother turning off the highway next time.

Great little place for lunch, dessert, bakery items and candy. They even made donuts for our large events, no hesitation. Great service and cute seating area. We stop there for a treat every time we are in Coaldale.

The staff is super friendly and the store is clean and bright. Their meat is excellent and I can almost always find what I need in the store. However, I am done buying fruits and vegetables there! Tired of bringing it home to find it rotting under the packaging.

Came here for lunch and even though the seating is limited the soup and sandwiches were incredible! The prices were very reasonable and choosing some pastries to take home was lots of fun. Definitely grab some bread and buns while you're here too!

When you're used to standard donut shops and bakeries in the States. A place like this reminds you what a little heaven on earth is like. REAL maple donuts. HUGE chocolate donuts. This place is a keepsake that I look forward to seeing again.

The Coaldale Bakery has been serving the community of Coaldale since 1986, but people travel to it from much further distances to purchase their cakes, pastries, specialty breads, buns and other baked goods made fresh daily.
