Your initial consultation begins as all new patient assessments do - with a number of forms! While tedious, these forms provide the practitioner with important information both relating to the current complaint as well as any additional, pertinent medical information. During your first visit, you can expect to have your practitioner's full attention.
No. OHIP does not cover chiropractic care; however, most health insurance plans do include chiropractic. Be sure to check with your insurance provider for your coverage of chiropractic. Chiropractors are considered primary health care professionals and therefore a doctor's note is not required to consult with a chiropractor in Canada.
