Canadian Permanent Residents may be eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship after living in Canada for three years. Citizenship and Immigration Canada also lists several other requirements for those who wish to apply for Canadian Citizenship. To be eligible to become a Canadian citizen, you must meet Citizenship & Immigration Canada's eligibility requirements.
