NuWay Kitchens Limited was founded in 1967 by Harvey Short Sr. the initiative to focus on custom-built cabinetry that was durable, artistic and reasonably priced, has resulted in an outstanding and proven reputation in both renovation and new home construction. With Harvey's persistence and vision, Nuway's first plant opened in 1970, with three employees and a single order for a bookcase.
It wasn't long before demand grew and distribution began throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, and Atlantic Canada. The unique and exceptional products manufactured by Nuway's trades people continued the growth in the 70's and 80's - leading to seven additions to the original plant.

Nuway offers a beautiful palette of stained finishes that enhance the natural character and grain of the wood species. Our superior stains and finishes are applied by automated German machinery.

Post Formed Laminate Countertops represent the most popular (and economical) type of kitchen and vanity counter. A vast array of stocked colours are available (over 100) for today's contemporary and traditional decors.

Words can't describe the poor communication this company had. Different answers depending on who you talked on why the delay after delay after delay. Over 12 weeks to get a product they said would be 4 weeks. Emails sent to President regarding delays and quality of work with little response. Still waiting for a response actually. It really seemed like they didn't care about their business or how they treated a customer. The cabinets came with numerous deficiencies and poor quality, not one or two deficiencies but well over 20 from poor cuts, bad glue, cuts in wood, dirty, etc etc. When I complained
