Walton is an international real estate asset management company focused on pre-development land in the path of growth. Founded in 1979, Walton currently manages US$ 3.4 billion of real estate assets on behalf of investors from around the globe.
Walton's investment approach has multiple phases, including identifying the right parcel of land for acquisition, syndicating the land through investment structures best suited for our various global sales channels, managing the land during its hold period and ultimately divesting of the land for a projected overall profit.
Walton's investment approach has multiple phases, including identifying the right parcel of land for acquisition, syndicating the land through investment structures best suited for our various global sales channels, managing the land during its hold period and ultimately divesting of the land for a projected overall profit.
In Walton's early years, extensive capital was deployed to acquire land in Canada. Walton shifted its focus away from Canada in 2007, to take advantage of the economic downturn in the United States, acquiring over 85,000 acres of land since. The U.S. economy is forecast to experience stable long-term growth, driven by increases in population, household formation, and job creation.
Walton began raising capital for real estate assets in Canada since day one, and expanding into the United States in the mid-2000s. Our real estate assets are all strategically focused in Canada and the United States due to their stable economies and long-term growth prospects. Walton's focus in Asia, Europe and the Middle East is on raising capital and servicing our global investor base.
Walton is dedicated to contributing positively through philanthropy to the regions in which we do business. Our mission is to provide opportunities and assistance to underprivileged children and families through cash and land donations, as well as having our employees volunteer in the communities where they live and work.
Walton prioritizes the identification and acquisition of pre-development land in the path of growth, an alternative investment that can deliver high returns. Our land acquisition model begins with years of extensive research on trends that impact the demand for land, and we also employ GIS technology and consult third-party experts in the market when buying land.

Critical: Value
It seems like there may be enough interest for a class action lawsuit. My parents list majority of their RRSP savings to Walton and the unethical sales rep. How can the regulators allow such investment qualify for RRSP? Are their financials being audited? Is this another Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme?

Walton targets retirees.
They offer to allocate retirement savings into illiquid securities with maturity date long outside the natural remaining lifespan of their clients. You won't be able to take your RIF payments out.
Special place in hell for this type of behaviour. Flashing warning lights, stay away.
Flashing hazards lights! Stay away.

I invested in this company back in early 2000's with promises of lucrative capital gains. Instead my money did not grow for many years with delays in land development. 2 years ago my investment dropped almost 50%. They have since passed control of my money to a company called Computershare, a company that seems to know absolutely nothing about my money and will not let me take it out. And good luck calling head office, nobody will return your call. I don't even think it's that nobody cares... I don't think anyone is even around in that office. All we're getting is BS email updates that are irrelevant

0 stars. Like everyone else, I invested 11 years ago and have lost 2/3 of my money. The prospectus indicated that the average investment period was 6-8 years. Well that has come and gone. I read the prospectus before investing and definitely these people lied to the investors. 11 years ago they seemed to have had a good performance. Or was it a lie? Being a private company it is hard to verify.
Avoid investing any money with them. I'd rather lose the rest of my small amount than have other people invest in bad money. Let them go bankrupt, and this time for good.

0 stars for this company from me. Invested 8 years ago, and after paying a hefty service fee to the so-called trust company every year, then finally losing the 2/3 of the shares last year, out of blue. The agents who had promised that the amount of the principal would stay intact ran away a long time ago. All the investors with the same experience should get together and discuss the way to get out of this scam. Before further damage is done. Who took my shares? Who took my money?

Steve Miller best summarizes this organization... "Take the money and run". Never heard back from my rep, then all the reps were gone, no phone numbers, no responses, and no accountability. Invest at your own risk. Buyer beware. Here's what you need to know...

These guys literally took our money and ran. Marv Cole made all the big promises that our investment was safe, like an rrsp but higher returns. Big talk about the higher returns. We gave them our entire retirement savings. Then we never heard back. Had to keep on calling, cause they said we would start getting payouts within4-6 years. It’s now 7. We just now got a statement and our “investment” is worth less than half. When I phoned I was told well you signed the paper saying you were aware of the risks. Yeah, we did, so it’s definitely buyer beware. We got taken for our entire retirement
