I just thought I'd tell you a little about myself and why I decided to become a Registered Massage Therapist/ Structural Integrator of the Rolf Method. Before becoming an R.M.T. I use to work for Electromotive building locomotives for 8 years.

One day at work I injured my neck pretty badly and headed over to see our nurse and physiotherapist to see what could be done about the acute intense neck pain I was experiencing immediately after injuring my neck.After 6-8 treatments twice a week from the physiotherapist I noticed the pain, headaches and stiffness had decreased and I no longer needed painkillers to control the pain.
Throughout your treatment I will focus on your needs and comfort level whether you are looking to decrease your stress with a relaxational treatment or decrease your pain and restrictions from an acute/ chronic condition with a more therapeutic approach.

I'm proficient in treating strains, sprains, acute/chronic soft tissue injuries, fascial restrictions, tendonitis, arthritic pain, pre and post natal, migraines, tension headaches, TMJ syndrome and sports injuries.I feel providing home care such as hydrotherapy and remedial exercises (stretching and strengthening) can be very beneficial on helping clients reach their goals as well as maintaining them.
Purpose: This homework is designed to align your body ideally in the field of gravity. In this alignment postural stresses are significantly reduced or eliminated. By learning to stack your body in this manner you are re-educating your nervous system to this ideal relationship. Slightly tilt your head back, and in a relaxed fashion bring your chin down, taking the base of the skull away from the base of your shoulders.
Purpose: This homework is designed to re-patten your feet so they will move and function in the correct planes of movement during walking and running. How Often: This exercise should be done at least 3 times per week. The best time to do this re-patterning is before a walk or a run, but can be done any time.
Laying on the floor on a comfortable but firm surface (yoga mat, carpet) start in a neutral position. Neutral is face up, knees up and feet flat. Imagine you are a clock on the wall. Your left side is 3 o'clock, your right side is 9 o'clock, your feet are 6 o'clock and your head is 12 o'clock. Once you are used to the quarter number movements on the clock you will progress to the next phase.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism
I contacted Erin to inquire about massage services and was told that the new clients aren't welcomed. You can only get in through her current client's referrals (which I find odd and there is no info on the site). I'd definitely take my business somewhere else where I am welcome and feel comfortable.

Erin is amazing at what she does. I suffer from neck and shoulder pain for various reasons, she has helped with this tremendously. Erin explains things and also provides a list of stretches I need to do to help with the prevention of the problem reoccuring. I highly recommend her services!

I’d give more then 5 stars if I could because Erin is amazing at what she does! I have had head, neck and upper back issues for years due to anxiety and my “sitting down at a desk all day” office job. She has helped me return to my normal pain free self. She’s a miracle worker and I highly recommend her!

My type of massage treatment is no treat (deep tissue massage) I have been through more than a few massage therapist and never quite found the right person until Erin became one . I have known her forever and I leave her clinic very satisfied each time. I would totally recommend Erin Jansen's Structural Wellness Clinic, she is AWESOME!!! My Structural Integration sessions with Erin left my body feeling lighter and refreshed and the feeling lasted long term. I went to Erin for my chonic back pain and the sessions resolved my pain and it hasn't come back. She works on solving your issue not just symptom relief. Thanks Erin!
