A Better Product at a Better Price. See why, for 30 years, Peterborough and the Kawartha's has turned to Walden's Kitchen Centre for complete cabinet, counter and millwork solutions. We offer a wide assortment of materials available for your countertop project including natural stone products as well as manufactured products.
Digital templating technology, digital cutting, and CNC technology allow us to produce the highest quality product at the lowest possible price. The heart of our stone processing system is the 'SASSO' K600, Park Industries "TITAN", and a Breton "NC300 K260". This equipment allows us to simply scan our drawings and then automatically loads the correct tooling to begin production.
Our 10,000 sq ft manufacturing facility features state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Located in Peterborough, Ontario, we employ a highly trained team of 20 full-time staff who include administrative, design, manufacturing and installation personnel. Web-based job tracking, allowing any of our office personnel to know where any job is in our manufacturing process.
We've made significant investments within our facility to ensure we support this commitment. State of the art, closed-loop water recycling system which allows us to filter and reuse all water used within our manufacturing process. The use of low volatile organic compound (VOC) solvents, sealers and adhesives whenever possible which offer improved air quality not only in our shop but in the homes of customers.
SCF Countertops sells natural stone products such as Granite, and Quartz as well as manufactured products including Solid Surface materials. We work with leading suppliers including brands such as Hanstone, LG, Silestone, Caesarstone, Zenith, Quorastone, CQS, Okite, Vicostone, MSI Q, and Corian Quartz.

I went in to the showroom recently after receiving a quote requested via email within hours (very fast) - the showroom is totally following Covid precautions...hand sanitizer is provided, they have implemented a cleaning policy to clean samples as clients touch them plus the regular mask use by everyone. Felt safe. As far as customer service, TOP notch - I had been other places and done a lot of research into new countertops and SCF was the clear winner for pricing, material and client service. Spent over an hour with great attention from Andy and Rhonda. I cannot wait for our new quartz countertops

Trudy at SCF was amazingly helpful in every way. Her customer service was excellent. She even sent a new CAD drawing for me to review the last minute changes. When the staff arrived to moms condo and couldn't get in they persevered for 20 minutes to try and reach us. The counter top was perfect and they installed it quickly and with a smile. Thanks so much for helping with moms kitchen reno and the exceptional customer service.

What a great place to shop for counter tops! The prices are competitive, friendly service, hassle-free and loads of material to choose from. Our granite counters were installed a week before planned, the installers treated our home like it was their own, and they were a pleasure to have. I wouldn't hesitate recommending SCF to friends and family.

From the time I walked in their door to the final installation of my granite kitchen counter it was a very positive experience. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. I went to 4 granite companies around Peterborough and I am so glad I chose SCF. The two guys that installed the counter were friendly and knew what they were doing. They also had the best price but thats not the only I chose them, for me the experience was more important the price. LOVE my new counters!
