We reveal how shopping for the lowest freight rate for trucking services can actually increase your costs. Service Freight is the antidote for every 3PL or freight broker who didn't return a call, missed an important detail or failed to confirm a delivery. Our people are cross-border, temperature-controlled shipping experts whose obsessive attention to detail and communication reduces the fear and uncertainty associated with freight shipments between Canada and the U.S.

We are cross-border, food logistics specialists whose obsessive attention to detail and communication reduces the fear and uncertainty associated with shipments between the U.S. and Canada.
Service Freight Systems was founded by Randy Stanbury in 1995. Prior to that, Randy worked in transportation sales, where he heard the constant complaint from freight clients: "Carriers are good at picking up and delivering freight, but not good at communicating with clients when there are problems."
It may surprise you to know that most of our team members were hired from outside the logistics industry. That's not by accident. We hire based on strength, not skill. We look for people who love details and are great at follow up and communication. Each candidate is tested to determine an accurate map of an individual's natural instincts.

Service Freight has handled much of 'Western Waffles' outbound-to-U.S. freight program since 2003. This long-term partnership continues today under the guidance of TreeHouse Foods, which now owns the brand. Product travels across the border and often thousands of miles to reach major retailers' distribution centres within tight shipping windows.
