We offer lessons in piano, guitar and bass guitar, flute, violin, cello, voice and drums. While the primary focus is on classical training, students are encouraged to explore many genres of music including popular music, rock and jazz. A Kodaly class is an entry level group class for pre-school children and for students up to the end of grade one.
Emphasis is on singing, basic rhythm instruments, music literacy, games and fun. Classes are offered in age appropriate groups once a week. Most of our faculty are university trained and all are professional musicians, who share common values of community and a nourishing learning environment. Music school activities include individual lessons, Kodaly classes recitals, rock camp and several recital opportunities each season.
