Services
Watersedge is a full-service, family-owned and operated dental laboratory located in Ottawa, Canada. We opened our doors in 2013 with just 14 employees and have quickly grown to over 40 employees. We serve hundreds of dentists in Ottawa and the surrounding area, and our rapid growth has been primarily due to word-of-mouth referrals.
Rob founded Watersedge Dental Laboratory to offer more than high-quality products: its "raison d'tre" was to give doctors the calm confidence they need to deliver perfection to their patients. With over thirty years of experience in dental technology, Robert knows that the best way for any doctor to navigate new and unfamiliar waters is with an experienced guide.
As valued and responsible members of our clients' dental team, the Watersedge staff are committed to delivering high-quality products and services consistently. A high standard of care is consistently achieved through the implementation of precise production protocols and active communication. We will continue to work with leading industry manufacturers and education providers.
From our Ottawa Dental Lab training facility or via online dental webinars, we are pleased to offer several Dental CE Events, Product Demos and other education opportunities for dentists and support staff. We've built our full laboratory service vision to always deliver an outstanding customer experience and provide the ultimate in support outside the box! We know your job becomes more difficult and your patient's experience is less than superlative. Call us to discuss a particular case. Watersedge Dental Lab (Tiana) was used these past few days by my Dentist to create a Crown tooth for me because I had broken a tooth. To make this task even more difficult, it had to be built to accommodate my Partial Plate/Bridge and clasps. This even required them having my Partial Plate for about 5 hours a day to ensure everything fit well. The Crown tooth was installed by my Dentist today and it feels fabulous, solid, and naturally fitting!! Good job Watersedge Dental Lab, Tiana, and the Team!! Your knowledge, expertise, and effectiveness is evident!! I recommend Watersedge Dental Lab!!

I've had nothing but one great experience after another with Wateredge. Most recently, both Gavan and Shawn P came over to my office to walk me through a procedure. The experience was phenomenal. In addition, Gavan took the time last week to send me an incredibly detailed email about different types of scan bodies. It was incredibly thorough and over two pages long. His email will be laminated and used as a reference in our office. They always go above and beyond and it is truly appreciated.

I recently had porcelain veneers made by Watersedge Dental Lab in Ottawa. I have to say I was nervous about having veneers made, especially because they were for my two front teeth. I was concerned they would look like fake teeth and really stand out in my mouth. Their work is excellent-they do whatever is needed to help and make everything work well.
In dentistry, not everything works as you'd like, it's just too complex between all the patient specific variables. -The measure of a great lab isn't always the initial product, it's how they react when issues arise after the fact (or even during with complex cases). I have never in 27 years of practice dealt with a lab that stands behind their work UNCONDITIONALY for as long as they do.
Their work is excellent-they do whatever is needed to help and make everything work well.

When it turned out that the shade for my crown was not the one they expected, they didn't hesitate and started over! Great people and craftsmanship. I went for a lab tour after they colour matched my tooth. They showed me how my crown will be made and I got to see all the work that goes into it and answered all my questions. I still felt a bit leery about a foreign object going into my mouth. I came back a week later when my crown was done to check the finished product and my perspective completely changed. This was a work of art!

The BEST dental laboratory that i have EVER worked with in my career. Exquisite attention to detail - both technically and aesthetically. Also, accountable and fair dealing with dentist customers. On top of all this, my patients who require service at their laboratory (e.g. custom shade match) have remarked about their over-the-top customer care!
