Sunwise Engineering Ltd. was formed by John Piea in 1981 to provide mechanical engineering consulting services for commercial buildings in Medicine Hat and area. Sunwise grew to provide both mechanical and electrical engineering consulting in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Northwest Territories.
Our close proximity to Canadian Forces Base Suffield has provided us over 25 years experience working on a large variety of unique projects. Mechanical and electrical work often consists of renovations, additions or new buildings.
Working closely with Defence Construction Canada, we are able to determine the clients needs and update, replace or construct cost effective building systems to serve a variety of common and not so common facilities on the base.

We have successfully completed a variety of renovation and new projects for several school districts in Alberta.
