When it comes to social events and special occasions, the celebration can be enhanced by the provision of food. Being able to dine and share a meal with fellow guests elevates a social event to a whole new experience. This can take the form of a buffet or a full sit-down waiter service meal. Social events can include weddings, birthdays or retirement parties, and the number of guests and the venue may dictate the type of food to be served.
It could be seen that holding the event in a restaurant may be the most comfortable option, as they will be used to catering for all tastes. The best wine for your wedding party depends on lots of factors, including your personal preference. However, sparkling, red, or white wine does not disappoint.

It's a must visit spot for some quick grabs if you're doing the Cabot trail. There are only limited food options on this route and this place definitely stands out. Hygienic and prompt service. Give the Herring Choker Club and Lobster sandwich a try. Try placing an order upfront as this place sometimes gets crazy busy.

Had the lox and lobster sandwich on our way to North Sydney ferries, amazed by the freshness of ingredients and taste of sandwich, as well as the bread! Best bread ever! Packed a bread to go.
Visited again on the way back from north Sydney ferries! Wish I could bring this restaurant back to Toronto. A must stop if you are in the area or passing by.

The quality of the sandwiches are great. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff are friendly and some are super cheery and friendly. The price jump from just a sandwich to soup and sandwich is a little high. Very high actually. It's a $6.50-$7.00 jump. Which is saying a small sized single portion soup is almost $7.00. Therefore, a sandwich and soup is about $17.00. That does NOT include drinks or dessert. Aside from the high pricing, it's an adorable set up with great water views of the Bras d'or. Again, the ingredients are very fresh, making the quality great. As you'll see in all my attached photos
