Cool Beans Tattoos was established in 2011. It is a private, custom tattoo shop with a focus on one on one, client to artist relationships. Our goal is to provide you a comfortable and welcoming tattoo parlour where you can enjoy your tattoo experience with us. Owner and operator Lia MacBean wants every client and every piece to be perfect and customized just for you.

Services
Lia does a wide range of projects. From simple script to detailed full sleeves. Her favourite style is full colour Japanese or new traditional large scale pieces. She also really enjoy black work, minimalism, whimsical illustrative piece work and old school classic American style tattoos. Lia considers herself a jack of all trades which helps meet the needs of a large variety of clients.
Consultations are a very important first step to start the process of getting a tattoo. Lia prefers to meet all potential clients in person before starting to work together. All you need is your idea, an approximate size range, your thoughts on placement and colouring style. It may help to have a few inspiration reference pictures.
Cover ups are one of Lia's specialties. It is where she feels she gets some of the most interesting, challenging and gratifying pieces. Problem solving, using colour, size, placement and detail are all great tools to doing a great re-work or total cover up tattoo for her clients. It really excites Lia to think outside the box to get the best result for this new piece.
After removing the bandage wash your new tattoo right away using warm water, your clean hand and a mild soap. Wash thoroughly but gently. Pat dry with clean towel and allow the tattoo to be open to the air. Do not re-bandage. For the following 2 weeks continue to wash the tattoo in the same manner morning and evening.
Over the years your feelings about your tattoo may have changed. Maybe you got something in your youth that hasn't aged well. Maybe its a former partners name or initial. Whatever the reason you don't love your tattoo anymore, she can help. Laser tattoo removal is completed over several sessions that will slowly erase the ink of the tattoo.
